The Roofing Alliance has announced the 2024-25 Most Valuable Player Awards finalists. The winners will be announced Feb. 20 during NRCA’s Industry Awards and Reception in San Antonio.
MVP Awards formally recognize outstanding roofing workers who achieve work-related and personal goals to which others aspire. Workers employed by a Roofing Alliance member or an NRCA member roofing contracting, distributor or manufacturer firm are eligible. From roofing contracting firms, any roofing field worker, foreman or superintendent can be nominated, and from distributor and manufacturer firms, any warehouse employee, warehouse foreman, driver or equipment operator can be nominated.
The 2025 MVP Awards finalists include:
- Angel Arroyo, superintendent, Raincoat Roofing Systems Inc., Broadview, Ill.
- Alex Garcia, superintendent, Bliss Roofing Inc., Clackamas, Ore.
- Hugo Guerrero, superintendent, Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing, Houston
- Cliff Johnson, driver, Beacon Building Products, Rochester, Minn.
- Chad Rouse, superintendent, D.C. Taylor Co., Cedar Rapids, Iowa
- Alicia Woodruff, superintendent, Superior Services RSH Inc., Lansing, Mich.
The 2025 MVP Honorable Mention recipients include:
- George Castillo, equipment operator, Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing, Houston
- Bill Deckard, warehouse foreman, All Weather Insulated Panels, Little Rock, Ark.
- Joseph Graham, foreman, Springfield Commercial Roofing, Kingsley, Mich.
- Rogelio Guerra, foreman, Renaissance Roofing Inc., Belvidere, Ill.
- Phillip Hernandez, driver, Beacon Building Products, Herndon, Va.
- Nahum Padilla, superintendent, KPost Company, Dallas
Professional Roofing’s Best of the Best Award winner also will be announced Feb. 20 during NRCA’s Industry Awards and Reception; the recognition is co-sponsored by OMG Roofing Products and Professional Roofing magazine.
